Privacy policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

FLAUNT ("FLAUNT," "we," "us," or "our") operates flauntdisplay.com and the related store, content, features, tools, products, customer communications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect or process, where it comes from, how and why we use it, when we disclose it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you. It also covers the limited Meta Platform Data processed through our internal Meta advertising integration. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service about the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit or use the Services, purchase or return a product, create an account, participate in rewards, submit a review, communicate with us, interact with our advertising, or use an authorized business connection to our Meta advertising integration.

It does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that have their own privacy notices. The Meta advertising integration is intended for authorized FLAUNT business users and is not a customer login service for the storefront.

Personal Information We Collect or Process

"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked with an individual or household. It does not include information that is anonymous or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.

Depending on how you interact with us, where you live, and the permissions or choices you provide, we may collect or process:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products viewed, saved, placed in a cart, ordered, returned, exchanged, or canceled; order history; discounts; shipping details; and transaction records.
  • Payment information, such as billing address, payment method type, payment confirmation, payment status, and transaction identifiers. Complete payment-card numbers and security codes are processed directly by Shopify and its payment providers; FLAUNT generally does not receive or store those complete credentials.
  • Account, rewards, and review information, such as account identifiers, preferences, rewards activity and balance, review content, ratings, and related profile information.
  • Communications and submitted content, such as support requests, chat messages, emails, survey responses, reviews, photographs, and other information you choose to provide.
  • Marketing preferences, such as subscription status, consent records, and your interactions with marketing messages.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, cookie or pixel identifiers, approximate location inferred from an IP address, referring pages, pages and products viewed, clicks, searches, cart activity, and the date and time of interactions.
  • Advertising and attribution information, such as whether an advertisement was displayed or selected, campaign and conversion information, and audiences or inferred interests used for advertising and measurement.
  • Meta Platform Data, as described in the Meta Platform Data section below, when an authorized business user connects or uses our Meta advertising integration.
  • Inferences, such as likely product interests or preferences derived from the information above.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it and it is necessary for the stated purpose.

Sources of Personal Information

We may collect personal information:

  • Directly from you, including when you place an order, create an account, join rewards, submit a review, contact us, or make a privacy request.
  • Automatically from your browser or device through cookies, pixels, tags, server logs, and similar technologies.
  • From Shopify and service providers that support payments, fraud prevention, fulfillment, shipping, customer support, rewards, reviews, analytics, and advertising.
  • From advertising and business partners, including Meta, Google, and TikTok, subject to your settings and applicable law.
  • From authorized FLAUNT business users who connect the Meta advertising integration.

How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide and fulfill the Services, including processing payments and orders, arranging shipping, handling returns or exchanges, maintaining accounts, administering rewards, publishing reviews, and remembering preferences.
  • Operate, personalize, and improve the Services, including troubleshooting, analytics, product development, performance measurement, and recommending relevant products.
  • Communicate with you, including transactional messages, customer support, order updates, responses to requests, and important notices.
  • Market and advertise, including sending promotional email when permitted, creating and measuring advertising campaigns, attributing conversions, limiting repeated ads, and showing advertisements that may be based on your activity or interests.
  • Protect the Services and others, including authenticating accounts, securing transactions, detecting and preventing fraud or misuse, investigating incidents, and enforcing our terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, establish or defend legal claims, keep required records, and complete corporate transactions.
  • Operate our Meta advertising integration, including authenticating authorized business users and creating, managing, measuring, and troubleshooting FLAUNT advertising.

We may aggregate or de-identify information and use it for lawful purposes. We will not attempt to re-identify information that has been de-identified, except to test whether our de-identification processes are effective or as otherwise permitted by law.

Legal Bases for Processing in the EEA and UK

If European Economic Area or United Kingdom data protection law applies, we process personal information under one or more of these legal bases:

  • Contract, when processing is necessary to provide requested Services or take steps before entering a contract with you.
  • Legitimate interests, when necessary to operate, secure, analyze, and improve our business; prevent fraud; provide customer service; or market our products where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent, including for non-essential cookies, targeted advertising technologies, or direct marketing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
  • Legal obligation, when processing is necessary to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, law-enforcement, or other legal requirements.

Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising Technologies

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the store, remember choices, understand use of the Services, prevent fraud, measure performance, and support advertising.

These technologies include Shopify technologies and, depending on your region, choices, and enabled channels, the Meta Pixel, Google tags, and TikTok technologies used for advertising, conversion measurement, analytics, and attribution. These providers may receive identifiers, device and browser information, usage activity, commercial information, and conversion events. They process information under their own terms and privacy notices and, in some situations, may combine it with information from other services.

Where required by law, we seek consent before activating non-essential technologies. Available controls may include our cookie banner or cookie-preference control, browser settings, the FLAUNT data-sharing opt-out page, and the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal. Disabling technologies may affect some features. Except for GPC where legally required, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information for the purposes described above to:

  • Shopify, which hosts and supports the online store and related commerce services.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention providers, which authorize payments and help protect transactions.
  • Fulfillment, supplier, and shipping providers, which process and deliver orders and returns.
  • Sales channels and marketplace providers, including Shop, Shopify Collective, Marketplace Connect, and connected marketplaces, when needed to list or sell products, route orders, or support fulfillment.
  • Store-service providers, including Smile.io for rewards, Judge.me for reviews, Shopify Inbox and Messaging for customer communications, Shopify Flow for automation, Search & Discovery for storefront functions, cloud hosting, technical support, and professional advisers.
  • Advertising and measurement partners, including Meta, Google, and TikTok, to deliver, personalize, attribute, and measure advertising, subject to your choices and applicable law.
  • Affiliates and corporate transaction participants, in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
  • Government authorities, courts, or other parties, when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services.
  • Parties you direct us to contact or disclose information to, including when you consent to a particular disclosure.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising technologies may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state privacy laws. See U.S. State Privacy Disclosures and Your Rights and Choices below.

Relationship With Shopify

Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services to host, provide, protect, and improve the Services. Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to Shopify and other providers in countries other than your own.

We also use Shopify features that may use information from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to help protect, grow, and improve our business, including Shopify Network Intelligence features where enabled. For processing that Shopify controls, Shopify is responsible for responding to applicable privacy requests. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Meta Platform Data

This section applies to information obtained through Meta APIs, including the Meta Marketing API ("Meta Platform Data"). Our integration is used internally to manage and measure FLAUNT's own advertising.

Data we process

When an authorized business user connects or uses the integration, we may receive:

  • The Meta user ID and basic profile information Meta makes available for authentication.
  • Identifiers and names for connected Meta business assets, including ad accounts, Facebook Pages, and Instagram accounts.
  • Campaign, ad set, advertisement, creative, audience-configuration, delivery-status, and performance or insights data.
  • Permissions, authorization status, and access-token metadata needed to maintain and secure the connection.
  • Technical logs and error information needed for security and troubleshooting.

We do not request a user's Meta password. Authorization credentials are used only to authenticate approved API requests and are restricted to authorized personnel and service providers that need access to operate the integration.

How we use and disclose Meta Platform Data

We process Meta Platform Data only to authenticate authorized users; create, manage, review, and measure FLAUNT advertising; maintain security; troubleshoot the integration; comply with law and Meta requirements; and respond to user requests. We do not sell or license Meta Platform Data. We disclose it only to Meta, service providers acting for us under appropriate restrictions, or as required by law.

Retention and deletion of Meta Platform Data

We retain Meta Platform Data only while it is reasonably necessary for the permitted business purpose, the integration remains active, or retention is required by law. We delete or de-identify it when it is no longer necessary, when the integration is discontinued, when Meta requires deletion, or when an authorized user requests deletion, unless applicable law requires limited retention.

Any person who can access the integration may request deletion, whether or not a privacy law separately grants that right. Email flaunt.displays@gmail.com with the subject Meta Data Deletion Request and include enough information to identify the connected account or business asset. Do not send a password or access token. You may also remove the integration through Meta's Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings. Revoking access stops future API access but may not by itself remove information we must retain; email us if you also want deletion.

U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Depending on applicable law, the categories of personal information we may have disclosed for a business purpose during the preceding 12 months include identifiers and contact details; customer-record information; commercial and transaction information; internet or other electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; communications and user-submitted content; and inferences. Recipient categories include the service providers, partners, and other parties described in How We Disclose Personal Information.

Our use of Shopify, Meta, Google, and TikTok advertising technologies may involve sharing identifiers or device information, internet activity, commercial information, and related inferences with advertising or analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. Applicable law may define this as "sale" or "sharing" even when no money is exchanged. You may opt out through the FLAUNT data-sharing opt-out page or by using GPC where supported and legally required.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about a person.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No security method is perfect, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, access tokens, or other confidential credentials through email or other unsecured channels.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain an account or rewards record, fulfill and document transactions, provide support, preserve opt-out preferences, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

Retention depends on the type and sensitivity of information, the nature of our relationship, applicable limitation periods, provider settings, and legal requirements. For example, marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it, subject to retaining a limited suppression record; order records are retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud, and dispute purposes; and Meta Platform Data follows the retention rules described above.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or information about personal information we process.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Receive a portable copy of certain personal information.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request.
  • Be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

To submit a request, use an available control on the Services or email flaunt.displays@gmail.com. For sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising choices, use the FLAUNT data-sharing opt-out page. To manage promotional email, use the unsubscribe link in the message. Even after an unsubscribe, we may send non-promotional messages about orders, accounts, security, or our business relationship.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Rights are not absolute, and we may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, in which case we will explain the basis where required.

For information processed by Shopify as an independent controller, visit the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Children's Data

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age at which they may lawfully provide it without parental consent in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required.

International Transfers

We and our providers may transfer, store, and process personal information outside the country where you live. Where required for transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on a recognized transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful mechanism.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for them. Information posted in public or semi-public areas, including reviews or social-media pages, may be visible and used by others.

Complaints

Contact us first if you have a concern about our handling of personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our response or complain to a regulator. EEA supervisory authorities are listed by the European Data Protection Board, and UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, providers, Services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy, update the "Last updated" date, and provide additional notice where required.
